JARED KUSHNER IS AN IDIOT

“Look, I think that the NBA players are very fortunate that they have the financial position where they’re able to take a night off from work without having to have the consequences to themselves financially,” Jared Kushner deduced. “So they have that luxury, which is great.”

This is the typical statement of a man who believes it is crucial to have the luxury of being white because it is crucial not to be black. Because if he were black, he would have to be more responsible for his words and the action he takes? Look at his record. His racist history does not inspire any trust.

When does it become a luxury for an athlete to be forced into a position to tell America that human rights are civil rights? Furthermore, it cannot be pleasurable for a black person to ask his government to render protections it offers its other citizens. When can athletes stop protesting young black males being shot in the back multiple times, suffocated to death when a police officer refuses to take his knee off a man’s neck, or have a black body riddled with more than a dozen bullets when sleeping in bed? When does the blue wall come down that protects cops who commit crimes that lead to prisoners’ hanging in their cells?

How does someone who can only be described as a moral undertow think to criticize others’ principles while completely disregarding his uncheck egoism.” Kushner is a man whose self-interest is the foundation of his existence.

A boy who has failed to evolve into manhood’s complexities dares to question the actions of men who have earned every dollar they have made and who have a sense of who they are, instead of what someone has paid others to let him play make-believe.

A black man cannot afford a minuscule margin of error when calculating his next move as the odds are already stacked against him. The slightest movement could result in death.

What could Jared Kushner possibly know about black people other than how to oppress them? He is that person who attempted to maximize his profits by minimizing spending on property maintenance and repairs in deteriorating buildings that he purposely left without repairs, and to tenants that he had gangster-style managers try to intimidate. Kushner has spent his lifetime taking nights off and never faced any consequences to himself, and he’s gotten away with it, broken rental laws, and enjoyed the perks of entitlement.

The devoted son-in-law has also praised Trump’s record on social justice, listing accomplishments that included signing a bipartisan criminal justice reform bill into law. In reality, the president’s signature has done very little to free black people who remain in prison on charges and sentences unjustified. It is one thing to sign a bill; it is another thing to set someone free. He said the President’s keynote address at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night would focus on how politicians in Washington, D.C., have “failed” U.S. inner cities “for a long time.” There! Right there, we see no other way of educating people. Possibly, but I don’t believe it. In the meantime, it would be a help at least to describe things properly, to call things by their right names. Jared Kushner is an idiot. He lacks more than just intelligence. Current uses of the word “idiot” usually spotlight a person’s foolishness, but Kushner has found bliss in his state of ignorance. The idiot cares nothing about public life, much less about public service. The idiot cares only about his name. The idiot, by way of his actions, can deface equality.

The mistrust, disrespect, and willful blindness Donald Trump and his son-in-law Jared Kushner have displayed toward the poor and people of color are only exacerbated by Trump’s virtual standstill, not only on civil liberties but on basic human decency. His wannabe advisor has never strayed from the path of contemptuous behavior and aggravated lip service. Their sluggish and insufficient response was due to a cold disregard for human life and because they lacked a left shade of a good gosh damn to do anything but find ways to rip taxpayers off of more of their hard-earned money. The human lives lost were just numbers. Trump and Kushner frightened migrants and divided Americans. Their behavior challenged our relationships with foreign allies by refusing to pull their silver spoons out of their racist mouths except to use them to dig out of the accounts of small oil-rich countries they tried to blackmail into political submission.

Kushner has been as much of a malignant presence in the White House as his father-in-law. The title “public servant” does not befit him, not when it has become abundantly clear that he serves himself best. He is a Harvard graduate who is also a poster boy symbol of college-admissions misconduct. Kushner is the New York executive with a substantial amount of blunders — what he could not take to the bank, he took from his tenants.

What he does not have and is unlikely ever to possess is integrity. In this nation’s history, he will never be remembered as one of the men and women who dedicated their lives to engender a social conscience in its people’s minds.

He is too blind to see that some injustices urgently need to be corrected and made fair; there are the poor who were part of this nation, built it, and deserve more than this nation has delivered while the benefits remain unreceived. In many ways, the debts accumulated in the past can never be completely repaid. The people of this country have a duty to those who have sacrificed more than any human being should have to. Let black people live with dignity and protection from senseless acts of violence. It is overdue. Bury Jim Crow and whatever has led some Americans to conceive an evil “differential” in the worth of human life. American dream that does not value every person’s past and present contribution is destined to remain a nightmare for all, and not only its victims, in a country that refuses to recognize that a part of its people are being denied justice because it is convenient to do so. He does not see how important it is for every victim of racism and inequality to invest in this moment’s power and seize the time.

Jared Kushner beckons the athletic community to commit to action, yet he has never committed to any kind to action that renders mercy to those in need. He has never presented a program that offers positive change for those that might benefit from social justice. God rejects the purposeful intent of injustice. God is not unjust; some men are. He has given each individual to do good, but more from those to whom he gives more- even those who took more than they deserved. They are not greater or better; they have a greater responsibility. It is called “atonement.” They must give more service now with the hope of living beyond the life they know, but then there’s hell. As for the people, it is time they recognized that they have been duped by the biggest shyster of political fraud in this century including: false depiction of governing, gross abuse of power, dangerous liaisons with dictators, misappropriation of public funds, violation of civil rights and liberties and crimes against humanity. Another four years of this isn’t just unacceptable, it is just plain sadistic.
